Discussing proposed changes in a publishing contract, Leonard Stein's music examples on transparent paper and how they will be inserted into the text, the arrangements for publishing his String Trio, thanking him for his offer to buy the manuscript of the Trio but saying that it is probably too expensive: he has already been offered $450-$500 for some works "but Mrs. Schoenberg refuses to part with them;" mentioning Leibowitz, Schirmer, Dessau, etc.
